im not sure where to post this question, so im sorry if its not in the right place.. we recently moved into a house with a very small hall closet. i hung a few things and a few days later found the whole whatever u call it in the floor, and thats where it all lays now...i would like to use the closet so i need to rehang the hanging thingy but there are no studs in the wall..(only lots of holes from me looking for a stud) oops....the other wall has the electrical panel on it so that wall is out.. and the third wall is in front of the door so that is not an option...what can i use or do to the wall so it can support something to hang clothes? thanks for any suggestions

Get some toggle bolts / mollies / anchors etc. at a local hardware store.

some help
most of the time there are studs in the corners...add a 1x4 from corner to corner and then hang your pole to it and the 1x4 works for a shelf to sit on as well....Good Luck
looks like a stud finder would be a good investment about now....what do you think...?
