I live in an apartment and have an iron chandelier that is lit with candles, so it needs no electrical wiring. I'm trying to figure out the best way to hang this chandelier from the ceiling. It can't hang too low, because my ceilings aren't incredibly high. I also want to do as little damage to the ceiling as possible, given that I live in rented property. Are there any suggestions for what I should use to hang this chandelier? Is has a hook with a long stem (about a foot) attached to it for hanging.

Hanging candle chandelier

You will need perhaps an eye bolt or hook screwed into a ceiling joist to support the weight of the chandelier. If the 'long stem' is too long for the height you desire, perhaps you can substitute a piece of chain. Make sure you use high quality beeswax candles that are dripless and smokeless. A candlesnuffer might come in handy.
