Damaged interior wall - need help

I purchased a townhome that had a spare room made out of part of the garage. The interior wall (wallboard) was covered with pieced panelling. Because of how it was just thrown onto the drywall, when it was taken off it looked like a giant dart board.

Any quick & simple ideas to dress up and/or cover a bumpy wall?

you will need to take some time to sand and patch the holes with spackling compound, then prime the wall if it is not already primed. then you micht look at some of the textured wallpapers that work well to hide minor flaws in the underlying walls. even regular wallpaper might work, but the worse shape the wa; is in the greater the weight and texture of the wallpaper you wil need to use.
