Angled cornor

We are building a room within a room and would like to make an angled cornor about 30" long between two walls. How do we join the cornor studs together?

What are you framing with? What I would think that you have to do is to create 2 studs that have had both sides ripped with a bevel to join together that would be right where the plates meet.

We are framing with 2x4's with the usual "post type" ends for the cornors. We weren't sure if we had to cut the header and footer at an angle to fit together and bevel the edges or not. Thanks
