fixing drywall screwup

Ok, so I didnt do such a good job taping my seams. Didnt see any problem when priming, but after painting the walls with Behr semi-gloss blue paint- oh my! I can see every seam.

Questions is, how long do I need to let the paint dry before mudding over the seams AGAIN? Can I use any other kind of mud to speed up the process?

Head to a paint store and you should be able to find mud to mix that will harden in 20 minutes. The only down side is you have to work quick. Their is also 45 and 90 available.

You need to wait for the paint to harden completely.
I always wait for twice the longest recoat time. If it says 24 hours to recoat, wait 48 hours.

You will want to use your 12" blade so you don't have to sand too much.

Buy premixed mud (not the dry stuff). A fan in the room will help with drying so you can sand and paint after about 6 hours.
