inside corners showing small amount of tape
Ok My husband and I have drywalled the first part of our huge addition!!!! We have some tape in the corners about 1/8 to 1/16 th of an inch showing, does this need to be covered with more mud so it won't show thru the paint or are we thinking OVERBOARD!!!! Please help us we don't want to do more than we have to so we can get on with this !!!!!!
Thanks in advance for your advice!

I am no professional taper/mudder but I would run some more mud over the tape and completely conceal the tape. It is just safer in the long run. Even if you have to wet sand lightly, it will be worth it to get a nice corner. Plus I would possibly recommend a flat paint if you want to hide imperfections more. peace: e3 - spamman

I agree with applying another coat of mud it will look nicer and will reduce the risk of the tape pealing up.

I agree. Would also suggest that you use a sealer before you paint. It will provide a more uniform surface for the paint.
