Dry Wall

I am trying to find out what the cost of a sheet of drywall is on average. Does anyone know?

Thanks
Monica

Depends on your location since shipping is the largest markup on materials such as drywall and, the number of projects in your area (is drywall at a premium due to a local building boom?). You could always call your local Depot or Lowes.

Drywall prices

Prices of building materials tend to vary from area to area as well as to supply and demand in those areas. You will tend to find that you will find that it costs less from a large franchise that can negotiate lower costs because they buy in volume.

A 4x8x1/2" sheet should be around $5. Give or take.
