Master bathroom added:hot water delivery

Currently adding a master bathroom with sep. tub and shower. will now be 2 1/2 bathroom house w/ radiator/nat gas boiler heat. have a 40 gallon water heater and realize this will have to be updated. looking for suggestions for best cost effective way to deliver sufficient hot water for the house. 2 seperate heaters, one large heater, indirect water heater. i am a novice so would appreciate any help at all.

A 50 gallon gas water heater if placed locally between the 2 bathrooms should be more than enough for what you need unless there is a special situation you have with numerous showers in a row, more than 4 users, etc, etc.

Do any of these apply?

Dunbar ,
we have 5 in the family. master bath has an air tub and a seperate two head steam shower. so we may have two showers going on at once, maybe a washer or dishwasher to if everything is going at once. someone recommended a insulated indirect heater w/a loop? what do you think? thanks for your input.

One 80 gal. WH and a recirc. pump on the entire system will be sufficient, and will cost less to install and operate than several WH's.
