I bought an house which is 8 yrs old single family/story on a slab foundation. I had the water heater replaced about 5 months ago because it was leaking. Ever since then I have had very poor hot water temp in all the faucets/showers with the faucets turned all the way to hot. Even with the water heater thermostats turned up all the way up the water temp is warm at best (thermostats not kept all the way up for more than 2 days). The company that replaced water heater has been out numerous times and have changed out both elements and thermostats and no difference to water temp. Now they are changing the water heater within a few days. Is it possible that they installed a defective water heater (not intentionally) or do I have another problem? Any ideas would be great. Hi All - My husband and I recently installed (okay, mainly he, but I helped a little) installed a GE 50 gallon water heater. The water is warming up...too hot so he needs to adjust the temp., but it gets way cold way too fast and we have to flip the circuit breaker switch (which, by the way is NOT tripping). Any ideas? We need a new circuit breaker box too if this helps at all. Thanks so much for your help! Wendie
