Tankless Water Heater Issue

I have had my Noritz propane tankless water heater for over 2 years now..... I have yet to have any problems with it. But one 'issue' that I have had is that it takes 60-90 seconds for my water to get hot to do the dishes, get a shower ready etc...

Is this normal? Or would it be an install problem? It has always been like that by the way.

Thoughts?

FYI. When It was installed I went with one that was more than enough for my 1100 square foot house so it is not because it's not powerful enough. It is big enough for a 2 bathroom house and I only have 1 bathroom

Generally, the time it takes hot water to arrive is not related to what type of heater you have. ( Tankless would have a very slight delay, but not 2 minutes.)

But if your bathroom is located some distance from the water heater, then all the cooled water in the pipes has to be purged out before hot water arrives down the line.

One reminder on the water heater is regular (yearly at a minimum depending on water conditions) maintenance is a must to keep it preforming as it should. Sediment can build up in the heat exchanger rapidly and should be flushed on a regular basis with white vinegar for 45 minutes.
