Water temp,

Hello,

I really need some help!! I have my water heater set at 120 degrees which is the lowest hot temperature range. In my shower I turn it all the way to hot and it get decently warm to take a shower, although i would prefer it hotter. However I dont want to turn up the heat on the water heater becase in the kitchen sink the water gets so hot i cant even touch it and it even makes the faucet to hot to touch. What is going on???

What make shower diverter do you have?

There is a scald control adjustment behind the handle that will most likely need to be changed...

The shower diverter is the valve thats in the wall for the bath.

You will need to remove the handle and adjust the scald control.

The cartridge could be bad also, and thats why I asked toy the brand. It should say it on the handle or face plate.

If the kitchen water is too hot mix it with cold water... Or you need to lower the temp of the water heater if there are scalding conditions.
