main burner not lighting

hello~

i have a bradford white hot water heater and for the past couple days it's been going out. i thought that this was due to me going in and out the garage door more than usual and the draft was blowing it out. i was able to light the pilot and get the main burner going again for several hours at a time before it would go out again. this went on for maybe 3-4 days. today i tried to light it again and although the pilot lit fine, the main burner didn't turn on when i turned the knob to "on" from "pilot." can anyone tell me if this is a basic fix such as needing a new thermocoupler or something else? any guidance would be much appreciated!

Hello back and welcome to the forums.

I'm thinking we may need a model number of your water heater.
