Question Attic installation gas water heater

Im not a professional but I did it myself and save money plus taught my Son In Law plumbing 101. Tank removal and installation time 11 hours.

GE-12 year Gas water heater $477, removal time to drain and remove old water heater from attic using 1 helper was about 2 hours using a rope and pulley plus (includes 1 hour setup time for removal of roof braces and installation of wooden guides).

Installation time: 9 hours
Lift water heater into postion - 1 hour
Modification to existing copper piping - 2 hours
Multiple trips to Home Depot for parts - 3 hours
Hooking up pan overflow and relief lines - 1 hour
Fix one troublesome leak at tank - 2 hours
