I have no hot water, Help Please?

I have a gas hot water heater. This morning I found out that when I turned on the faucet I had cold water; however, as soon as I turned it to the hot side the water just stopped. The pilot light is on... and I am lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You have a clog in the plumbing somewhere. Check other faucets around the house. Do they have hot water? It's common for a faucet cartridge to clog or get stuck with sediment. Luckily all you usually have to do is remove the cartridge and clean it out.

Anyone been working on the plumbing and may have left the incoming water line off on the heater?

Sound like may be a frozen pipe... Whats the temps been in your area. I hear it is 20 below in some areas of CO.

If so try to get it thawed out before pipes burst, Run a pencil stream of water out the faucets when you do.. Pipes will not freeze then...
