propane water heater for cabin

You guys think this water heater: Portable Tankless Water Heater - 1669088, Toiletries Shower at Sportsman's Guide will work with this pump I have laying around? 12 Volt Marine Utility Water Pump

I have a 35 gallon water tank feeding it. Would the pump or the tank get screwed up if left on for a few minutes without the water running? How could I add a switch to the pump?

If you look at the reader's comments on that heater link page..... there a a guy using a Wayne 12 volt PC1 pump which is very similar to what you have.
