brown water after flushing two times?

Hello,

I'd figure it was a good idea to flush my water heater. Everything was fine, but I'd figure I would be proactive. The first time when I flushed it, I definitely saw sediments, and even had my hand out to see white sediments. The first time, I opened the valve, drained the hot water, then opened the inlet cold water while increasing the pressure. After I did this initial flush, I checked the water, now it's a light brown color? Is this because I stirred some sediments up? It was clear before? I then figured it wouldn't hurt to do it a second time, so I flushed it again. We went out to dinner for a couple of hours, came back and the water from the sinks are still brown. I noticed the water wasn't hot, but I'd figure it'll take time to heat up. I'm going to bed and will check on it tomorrow, hopefully it'll be clear?

Yes.... It will clear. It may take a few days to settle...
