Bradford Water Heater Won't Stay Lit

I have a Bradford White model #MI5036FBN 50 gal water heater. Over the weekend there was a leak in the supply line which I woke up to find. After cleaning up and fixing the leak I found there was no hot water in the house.

I inspected the water heater and found the pilot wasn't lit. I lit the pilot and evertyhing seemed fine. This morning the pilot was out. I re-lit the pilot and kept an eye on the flame. After a few seconds, the burner flame would dissipate but you could still hear the gas flowing. It seems like there's not enough oxygen getting to the burner.

I see there's a thermal switch on the side of the unit and I pushed it, pulled it and wiggled it and it didn't sem to "click" or have any affect with the issue.

There's a Honewell gas control assembly on the side of the unit.

Any help would be appreciated.
