Tankless water heater drain pipe leak
I have two tankless water heaters installed outside either side of my house.
For the last few months I've noticed the drain pipe under one of the heaters pour out water constantly. I believe this drain is also connected to our AC unit, but it being winter now, the AC isn't on which makes me believe the water coming out is because of the water heater or some other drain problem.
Please can y'all help me figure out whats happening.
Thank you in advance

Without a make and model number it would be pretty hard to help you.
As a rule.... those types of heaters don't have a drain. You may an overheating problem where a relief valve is releasing water.

We've got a Rinnai tankless water heater. After opening the cover, I realized that the relief valve is not working properly (I opened it and a lot of water came out of the pipe, on closing it water continued to pour out). I'll replace it and hopefully that should resolve the problem.
Thank you.
Thank you.

as a followup, I finally found time to do the repair today. Replaced the pressure relief valve and now the leaking has stopped. The valve that I replaced had a crack in the seal which caused the leak. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction PJmax
