Navien NR-210 tankless: water too hot

I have a tankless water heater that is about 6yrs old and it just started acting up. Sometimes the water temp is about 160deg and burning hot.
There are no codes on the controller. I checked the water inlet and outlet filters, they were spotless. Hard to diagnose without any error codes, it will deliver 160deg water sometimes the. The normal 120 as it shows on the controller other times.

Ideas?

Welcome to the forums.

Not the pro on this unit. Just an observation.

Since there isn't a code set the unit thinks it's operating normally. There is a thermistor in the hot water outlet that is supposed to keep the water temperature correct.

It sounds like the hot water outlet thermistor out of calibration. I'd call technical support for help. Technical Support at 1-800-519-8794.
