Tankless electric water heater

I have a 50 ga electric. My household is only 1 person.I was
looking at the new electric tankless and they are improving.
I dont have a dishwasher or pets
or pool etc. WOuld one of these little tankless electrics save me money? But how do you wire these if they want 100 amps??

I'm not so sure they are improving. They may be but they are very dependent on water quality.
High mineral content causes problems with them.

If it requires 100A by itself..... you'd need a 150A or 200A service.
