Backflow preventer vent occasional drip

I noticed a few drops of water occasionally coming from the back flow preventer vent line. The backflow preventer is on the cold water line feeding the boiler. The line goes from the well tank through the backflow preventer, then followed by a watts water feed valve, then into the heating loop
Is this normal? It is an occasional drop...maybe a few times a day...enough to leave a faded half dollar damp spot on the concrete at the end of the day. (3 year old new construction system)
Just don't want this to let loose and flood my finished basement.
