When you cleaned the well, iron got stirred up. With increased concentration of iron, you may need to backflush more frequently until it clears up.

What kind of iron? bacterial or ferrous/ferric? Has either a local yokel or a lab done iron tests or do you have your own kit? What are some readings?

Does "cleaned out" mean a chlorine injection or.........?

Was the media MC-10P for MacClean's Chem-Free system?
