Waterboss 900 water in brine tank
I have a 4 year old Waterboss 900 that has stopped softening the water. There is excessive water in the brine tank. I bought the Waterboss hoping to avoid similar problems with previous GE/Kenmore softners. Does this sound like an injector that needs to be replaced? If so, do you recommend replacing the injector or the whole injector assembley.
Thanks for your help.

My water boss overfilled the brine tank because the plunger actuated shutoff valve had worn a slit in the plastic coating, the brass underneath corroded and swelled, jamming the valve. I cleaned it up once, put it together and it worked for a while, but its done it again. The whole unit needs to go in the trash, they are disposable units just like the GE/Kenmore units your trying to avoid.
Next time, but a real water softener. Something with a real valve head, like a Clack WS-1. You'll pay more, but it'll last.
