Round vs Square salt tank...

I've been looking at installing a Fleck or Autotrol softner and have noticed most come with a square brine tank and you can buy the round one for slightly more ($50 or less). Is there an advantage to the round over the square tank or vise versa?

Thanks!

No advanatge of round over square as long as the draw is equal. Sometimes the square ones are a bit conical (narrower at the bottom than the top) and this can cause the salt to bridge slightly easier.

Going with the cheaper one is fine.

Thanks

Thanks, based on info here and other places I bought a fleck 5600se with the round tank (was the same price). Hopefully it arrives Friday so this weekend I can install it and get rid of my rental unit.
