Water spots.
Purchased a Culligan water softener 2 years ago and have noticed that every few months I'm noticing a hard water ring in the toilet and spots on the shower door that require effort to remove, I had contacted Culligan under warranty several times, they came out, checked the water and said it was soft, I finally got some test strips and I get the same results. When speaking with the salesman before buying my system, he told me that the water softener would end water spots and toilet rings and other hard water issues. Is there something wrong with my system or my expectations?
Thanks.
Thanks.

IMO it is impossible for a ring in the toilet bowl to be hardness scale. More likely it is caused by something else, maybe sulfates, chlorides, or toilet bowl/tank cleaner etc..
