Hague Hydro Clean III

I had one of these systems put on my house 3 years ago. I paid over $4000 for it and it has been a thorn in my side ever since! It is very expensive to keep having the local company come out and service it and I've either got to learn how myself or get rid of it. I am a single woman who depended on my ex for this stuff and have much to learn.

Anyway, the company had moved my brine take to the outside of my house a few months back so I could access it easier. The rest of the system is in my crawl space which I am not able to access it easily. Ever since, the system hasn't been working properly. I don't think it's regenerating anymore and once again I need to call the company to look at it. They are expensive and it's over $100 every time they come out here. My first question is this...is it ok for the brine tank to be outside the house?

 

You can remote the brine tank outside the home. It shouldn't be more than about 15 feet away.
