Kinetico 2060s Discharges ALWAYS!

I have a 2 year old Kinetico 2060s. When the tab indicator over the disk is in the 6 O'Clock position, water drains out of the discharge ALL OF THE TIME! However, when the indicator is in the 12 O'Clock position, it is fine. Is this problem just a bad seal or something?? I have torn into a model 60 head before, and it was not a big deal. If you think it is just a seal, I don't have any reservation in going into the head to repair.

Please advise...

Most likekly it is a piston and would need to be replaced. While it is apart, other parts such as seals are usually replaced or lubricated as well.

I assume you are on well water, right? How old is it?

Culligan 89 Start Up.

I have a Culligan Mark 89 that is in a home I just recently purchased. I have not done anything with it until today when I noticed that it is leaking from the control panel. I am wondering if I can take his panel off without having water leaking all over the basement? Also any idea of what could be leaking? Also I would like to get it back into service. I have emptied the salt tank and it REALLY needs a cleaning but was wondering what I should do to get it up and running? Thanks inadvance for the help. Steve GibsonRead More

I have an older rainsoft water softener that recently broke the shear pin connecting the drive motor to the cams that actuate the valves. I am trying to find information concerning where the cams should be relative to the timing wheel. If anybody has some information or pictures, I would appreciate it.Read More
