Well Filter
I had low water pressure so I pulled the head off of my tank and it was clogged. I have seen the well guy do this before so it was not a problem. What I need to know is what kind of substance goes in the tank. I do not think this is the filter tank. I have two tanks. The one I am talking about has a timer on it that backwashes the system. The guy always flushes and changes the substance. It looks like coffee grinds. I called a hardware that I purchased a new pump from but they did not know. One guy said it may be salt. Thanks for the help.

[QUOTE=biermech;1581940]It sounds like carbon. If you have a backwashing valve, you may want to set it to backwash more often. This will keep it from clogging up as fast.[Do you know what to put in the tank?
