I have a Hague Watermax 23BEQ.
Problem is that during brine rinse, water is flowing into the brine tank instead of being drawn from it.
The tech just replaced the drive end, o-rings and the injector throat....cleaned everything....trying to solve the problem. This did not solve the problem.
Any help appreciated.

During the brine draw, the drain water must slow to about 1/3 gpm. If the drain does not slow, an internal leak is the most likely cause. The drain line being kinked or block will cause a no brine draw as well.

You can not see an internal leak. When the valve moves into a draw cycle, ports are sealed to direct the water flow in a certain direction. If a port leaks by, a brine draw may not happen. If the venturi is broken or clogged, it will fill during a draw cycle as well.

Hague 23BEQ
biermech,
Can you give me a diagnostic procedure to use?
I've got new O-rings for the drive end so I can remove it.
I had surmised that high pressure water was passing the seals on the drive end piston (which is new), thus flowing into the brine rinse. What's the cure?
BTW, the venturi is new...just replaced.
Thanks and best regards,
Xander

Hague 23BEQ brine rinse problem
biermech,
Have you found anything re the fill on brine rinse instead of pulling brine from the tank?
I just took it apart again and checked inside the valve body for something out of the ordinary....found nothing.
I do know that the sound of the flowing water is not as it was when the system worked. Sounds like much more water flowing to the drain during the brine rinse.
Best regards,
Xander
