need a service person in So. Calif

I live in so. calif. Santa Clarita area and need someone to maybe service my 1 yr old water softener. The water is not very soft since a short time after new. It has a clack head. it goes through all the cycles but never is soft as it should be. I am giving up and if someone nows a good tech in my area let me know ED tired of trying things that do not work.

If you bought it only a year ago, then the dealer should be an easy choice to get it working for you. If you bought it on-line, well then the seller should guide you through the steps. If the on-line seller doesn't feel obligated to do that, then get a manual with a troubleshooting guide. If you don't have a manual witha troubleshooting guide, then download one from the internet.

Other than that, tell us what the problem is, what you have attempted to do, what your water conditions are and how big the tank is.

Before anyone can offer assistance, some basics need to be understood. It is a good valve and should work as designed. Is it a timer or demand valve?
