No Water in Brine Tank

I own a Waterboss softener. When my system regenerates, no salt is used and no water is in the brine tank. I noticed that when the cycle gets to the refill brine stage, nothing happens unless I manually push in the piston. Then the cycle lasts for about 10 seconds and then stops. No water gets into the brine tank.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Call the water boss number that should be on the owners manual that came with the softener.

Make sure the plumbing that draws brine from the tank is not blocked. Also make sure the float that regulates the brine level in the tank is operating properly. Welcome to the forum.
