Imported or USA? The Purolite question

This is the last step. I have the unit and all other options picked out from ohiopurewater.com.

Now it's onto whether I want to shell out the additional $68 for the Purolite 8% USA-based resin or stick with the standard imported option.

The helper from their phone support relayed that they have two distributors that they go through. One swears by the Purolite stock saying that it is more uniform and makes regen easier, where as the other believes that they are equal in quality (or that it doesn't effect anything).

Internet searches yield nothing worth noting.

Does anyone have any experience that they can please share on the subject?
Thank you

I was told several months back that the only US company that makes resin burnt down so all resin comes in from over seas. Normally 8% is standard and 10% is an upgrade. Did you mis-speak?

Hah, well that would certainly change things. Thank you for the reply.

As of the moment, there's currently 4 options of resin through OhioPureWater and the first two are both 8% with the only difference being one is listed as imported and the other domestic.
