Which water softener would you keep?

Just moved to a new house. We put a new Water softener in our old house about a year ago. It's a GE Avantapure Pro Series (Model 269 with Upflow Conditioner Kit).

Our new house has a North Star Ultra Demand Water softener. I have been scouring the internet for info to compare the two, but I can't really find much hard evidence. I did see a few sites rating the GE a little higher than the North Star, but not enough to really persuade me. The reason I ask is because the company that installed my GE will install a new GE system in my new house for free; I just need to know if I should have them replace the North Star system or just keep the North Star system the new house. Would you stay with the North Star Ultra Demand, or have them replace it with the GE Avantapure system and why?

I am no real fan of either of the valves, Autotrol or the GE is better than the Sears or Eco water valve under the name of North Star...
If the North Star is in Working order right now why replace it right now?
If it is not broke why fix it?
