puronics or ionic hygiene filter change

I have a Puronics while house filter system and I wanted to if anyone knows where I can buy the replacement hygiene or filter?

I do not know the exact name or what to look for so I can't really search for it online.

I am in the Orlando area so please let me know if there are any stores locally that carry it.

You can only buy the hygene carbon media from an Ionics dealer.

Water softener issues fix or replace?

[ATTACH]44476[/ATTACH] [ATTACH]44477[/ATTACH] We have a General Ionics IQ system, it is electric and it has a brine tank and resin in it. We consistently have issues with it not cycling and or treating the water. The last time we tried to force a cycle it ran for hours and then it dumped salty water through the pipes (that was a new issue) and I said I was done and put it in bypass mode. Now I am sitting here with a wife wanting soft water back but refuse to spend more money on this system we already spent 5-6k on. Any ideas are welcome. She is currently looking at Kinetico. I can get pics of system or any other needed info if it would help, just tell me what you need.Read More

Reverse osmosis low pressure

Hi all, thanks for having this forum. I'm having a problem with my system and I hope someone can help. My system has low pressure. It has normal pressure at first but it gets weaker and weaker. I can barely fill a teapot without the pressure going down to almost nothing. I tried to measure the air pressure in the tank and got over 40 psi. and water came out of the pressure valve. I know that means something is wrong, but where should I go from here? Thanks, JimRead More
