So I am trying to make changes in the house. Trying to drink more cleaner water. I am trying to find out more information about a filter system I can get for drinking water. One of them was in amazon called ISpring reverse osmosis for $179.99. I got good review but wow five different filter. Does anyone know if thats a good one and what else other their . How can I find out which one is actually efective. Since I want something that only takes out the bad things off the water but still able to keep the good minerals.

Need some help please.... I purchased a used kinetico Model: Filter/softener, quad that just didn't work for the home owner. I bought it so that I could rebuild it, using parts from a Model 2000 that was never able to cycle fully (automatically did one tank, but had to manually regenerate the second.) The two heads are different in that the quad has a drain port on the top, indicating (I think,) a para-flo system. Problem is that neither disk is colored orange. I have a white disk on the bottom that has an "X" on it, and a generic (non-Kinetico) brown one with a number "2" sticker on it. Aside from that, when I broke it down, levels 2 and 3 were joined together with a plastic bolt ,where the 2000 head has a clear, plastic tube that transcends from level 1 to 3. I'd like to use the quad tanks, and the head that came with the quad, but I'm not sure which parts to "frankenstein" together to get it going. I've included pictures... Thanks in advance!
