Hello everyone! I'm new here and I just purchased a house with a water softner system. So awhile back I was farting around with the setting on my system going through them and learning about it. A couple days ago I went to check if my salt was low and noticed that the salt level has not moved and the brine level (water level) is half way up the brine tank. I checked everything on this unit from plugged flow tubes to removing most of the salt and water. I manual regened the system a couple times and notice that it would add water to the brine tank but only take a tiny bit back into the tank. I spent hours trying to diagnose what is wrong I then noticed that in the settings it will not allow to to change the water hardness (skips the step completely) when trying to change settings. Could this be the reason why my salt level has not changed? Is there anyone out there that could help. Thanks a bunch Trent.

I own a Kinetico Sulfur guard 2060F water softener system. For several weeks, I have been using hydrogen peroxide as a regenerating agent and for some time the regenerating tank has not gone down any longer. the system was installed in 2016, I changed the pre-filter as indicated and the company came to change the two carbon bottles and do the maintenance after five years. the water does not have a bad smell but it seems abnormal to me that the level of regenerating agent no longer drops as before. what do you suggest me?[img]https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.doityourselft.com-vbulletin/1500x2000/img_9384_67cf176fdc8bdc275644a12bdcf81769015d4fd8.jpeg[/img]
