Talking oxy-propane setup

I have some medical oxygen tanks with a nice flow control and an adjustable propane regulator for my 20lb propane tank. I have a torch handle from an old oxypropane set up that Iwant to try out. I got some flameback control to put inline from the welding shop and can hook it all up.

Is it too dangerous not to use bonifide guages and so on or is it alright?

No, it isnt going to work. I think yo are talikg about a regulator for an lp appliance? Neither one of these reg setups will deliver the gasses at the right pressures. 02 you will need 20# delivered to the tip and gas 5# or so. An applaince reg delivers less than a pound. Using 02 is common though, I would invst in bottle for it and a torch set with a couple lp tips.
