welding aluminum with a torch.

Ive seen adds for this welding rod for aluminum that uses your torch. Ive never used it but was wondering if it really does work. I thought I would see if anyone here knows anything about it.

If you talking about the rods for brazing aluminum.
The rods do ok if safety is not an concern, it will discolor to a gray color after time.

I have tried several different types of aluminum solders and the only people that can make perfect joints are the guys selling the stuff at trade shows.

Try it if you are curious, it might work for you.
