questions on oxyfuel welding

Smile questions on oxyfuel welding

first of all how is this done?2nd how do you know what a neutral flame is?3rd what is is differance in the flames?4th how do you know what filler rod to use with oxyful welding? a little back ground on myself i went to school on stick welding and taught myself mig welding i am doing o.j.t for tig welding now but have not done any oxyfuel welding and i really need this information to pass my final test for a job reclassication for more money please help thanks HOOAH!!!!!!!!!!!

its done alot like tig. you have a torch and a filler rod. a neural flame has a crisp, cone like shape, no 'feathering' at the end. it is the result of the right balance of oxy and actylene.
