plastic ( frp ) welding
hello- i am new to this forum - my first post - i was hoping to be educated about plastic welding - specifically frp- my intention is to weld together frp that is laminated to 1/4 inch hardboard for making water tight boxes. before i jump in with both feet, and buy any type of welding tools, i would appreciate anyone with any advice, help, tech tips, etc. thanks in advance.

According to the above article about FRP, the process by which it is made, Thermosetting, renders it such that it "does not soften, melt, or flow when heated". The material may be not suited for what you desire to make.
