Electrical Enclosure Support Frame
Hello all, I am looking for a cost efficient way to build a frame to mount a 42x36 inch ~150lb Hoffman electrical enclosure to.
This frame would have to be portable, likely using wheel castors. Originally I had thought of using unistrut however I am concerned with the joint where the vertical beams (to which the enclosure would be bolted) meet the horizontal beams (with the castors). Does anybody know of perhaps a better material to use for this or wether unistrut would be able to take the weight? I would prefer not to use thick steel tubes since I don’t have the proper tools to cut them. Thanks!
