Handy torches

My little Burnzomatic hand-held torch is pretty handy, but I don't care for the fact that you have to buy a fairly substantial metal cannister, and just throw it away after emptying it. Is there any kind of handy torch that can use a re-fillable fuel?

There are many refillable butane torches in all shapes and sizes. They don't have the power of propane torches but they work great for small jobs.

Thnx Pilot Dane. Does using butane fuel involve less wasted packaging (cannisters, etc.) than propane?

The butane to fill a torch is sold in canisters so there will always be a bottle of gas somewhere.

Our Scoutmaster started refilling 1 pound propane bottles (for camp stoves) from a 20 pound grill-size bottle. Bernzo bottles are 14 oz. That may be an option since you already have the torch. Maybe?
