More loam over leach field?

I built a new house and the slope of the land and location of the leach field has caused a large pond of water to form over my leach field when it rains heavily, so I was thinking about adding more loam (may end up being 12-18" at some points) to level out the area and spread the water out more.

Is there any limitation to how much loam/fill/sand can be placed on top of a leach field?

Thanks,

Ron

Nope. Use good sandy soil (no clay or muck).
Good luck!
