jet pump froze up

jet pump froze up
We have a A.O. Smith jet aerator motor in our septic tank and it is froze up. The old motor we had lasted 12 years or so before it froze up and it was not fixable. So we bought a new one in April 2003 and the electric motor place said it only had a year warranty. And now it froze up. My question is, we know it is the bearings. How do you take it apart to replace them, from the top there the plug is or from the bottom where the jet pipe comes out? Once you get it open, what do you do? Where is the best place to find replacement bearings? Is there a way to fix the tank so it does not draw the moisture up around the motor? Could you put a light film of grease on the motor to keep it from corroding? Thanks!

More info would be helpful
Model of pump, exact location of pump in relation to the tank and a better description of how your system is set up would be good to know.
Even a pic if you are able to find a photo host.

This is a picture that looks exactly like our pump. You just flip it upside down with the tube down into the septic tank. The motor sets on a lip in the concrete tank. A timer turns the motor on 3 times a day.
