air tanks
We have a amtrol pressurized air tank. The water shuts off every 30 seconds to 2 minutes any time it is used. We have been advised that it may be water logged. This has never been an issue before, however it would not surprise us. We are wondering how to check if it is water logged and if so how do we drain it and restart it.
Thank you for any advice.

See if you get water out of that top schrader valve on the tank .If you do the bladder is shot and you need to get a new tank. If no water turn pump off drain down and put air in 2 lb light of what the pump comes on at.

Just to add a little detail to exactly what Ed said, check the tank pressure with a tire gauge with the pump power off and the water pressure drained down. It should read two psi below your pump cut-on pressure (i.e. 18 psi for a pump set at 20-40 cut-on/cut-off, 28 for a 30-50).
If water comes out of the air valve, replace the tank.
If it is too low, air it up with a bicycle pump or portable air tank or compressor to the two psi below cut-on.
Good Luck!
