Shallow Well Pump Continuously Cycles

I Have A 30/50 Craftsman Tank With A 1/2 Hp Pump. There Has Been A Significant Drop In Water Pressure And At Times We Have Had No Water. When Water Is Being Supplied The Pump Continously Cycles On And Off. I Have Disconnected The Pump And Opened The Faucets Until The System Was Drained. I Then Used A Pressure Gauge To Check The Bladder Pressure. It Read 0. I Then Used A Compressor And Placed Air In The Bladder. The Highest I Could Get It To Read Was 20 Psi And Then Watched As The Pressure Dropped Back To Zero. Is This A Burst Bladder? If So, Is It Worth Replacing Or Is It More Effective To Get A Complete New Tank And Bladder? If Not The Bladder, What Else Could Be Causing The Problem? Thanks

It's time to go tank shopping. Sorry. BTW, try to resist the urge to buy the cheapest tank, you will get exactlly what you pay for. Look for Wel-X-Trol, Goulds, Challenger,Well-mate, if possible.

Thanks Waterdoc. I Thought That Might Be My Solution And Didn't Want To Be Shotgunning It. Now I Know What I Have To Do.
