sump pump liner holes

I am in the process of installing a sump pump and liner. The basement has never had a sump pump before. The liner I was able to get does not have any holes in it. What size holes should I drill in the liner? How far up should I start? Should I go all the way to the bottom of the liner? Should I drill holes in the bottom of the liner?

Thanks

I wouldn't drill holes in the very bottom,,,,,,,,,,,,I would say you can drill small holes throughout the sidewalls of pit.

If you have any localized drain piping designed specifically (footer drains) for drainage of footer then I would make openings for the pit.

Make sure you install that pit where water would be at its lowest point. Otherwise it will not provide the protection you are looking for.
