Replacing well pump

I'm replacing a shallow well jet pump.
At the moment I have a Wayne 1/2 horse jet pump with the shallow well nozzle kit.
I will be replaceing it with a 3/4 or 1 horse model.
Whats the pros and cons of the shallow well pump and the convertable jet pump with the shallow well nozzle?
Is one any better than the other?
The pump I have now seems to work fine, but I'm giong from a 5 gallon tank to a 35 gallon and want to upgrade the pump also.

The bigger the tank, the longer your motor will last.

Buy a name brand pump, not a hardware pump. You will have better service from a name brand.

The convertable has to have a shallow well jet bolted on the front. The shallow well jet already has one. Save the extra money and get the shallow well jet.
