Question Low water Pressure on Well

My water pressure was originally at a minimum or 39lbs and maximum of 48lbs on my artesian well. It has recently dropped to 24 lbs. I know that the drop in pressure has been caused due to the installation of a new filtering system I had installed on my water line. How can I increase the water pressure on my tank to bring it back up to where it was? Can I use a regular foot pump or do I need a compressor and do I also have to turn of my pump and open up water line and keep running while increasing the pressure?

That is a big pressure drop (39 to 24 psi). Water conditioning equipment should not drop water pressure that much, but where is the pressure gage? What type of system (submersible, shallow well or deep well jet pump?, bladder air tank? drilled well?).
A pressure switch can be adjusted, if that is the problem, or it could be a failing pump.
A true artesian well has water overflowing the top constantly. Do you have a true drilled artesian well? How deep is the well? How deep is the static level? Do you know what size of pump you have?

Low Water Pressure on Well

The drop in pressure was noticed on the very day the system was installed. My pressure guage is on tank inside my home. I have a submersible pump system. My well is drilled 160 feet deep. At the time the well was drilled, we were getting four gallons of water per minute. My tank is a blue aluminum with a bladder inside. There is an air nipple on the tank to allow me to inject air in to the tank. I tinkered with the switch a little trying to adjust the cut in and cut off pressures but stopped as I thought I could make worse than better due to my lack of knowledge. Where can we go from here?
