sewage pump and basin size specs
hey all,
I'm in the process of putting a bathroom in the basement. I have a pro plumber coming out to do some of the stuff I'm not familiar with. I have a 24 inch basin that is just ejecting washing machine water at the moment. He wants me to pick up a HydroMatic sewage pump, but those are around 300 bucks or more. He said that would work perfect for the 24 in basin.
My question is I've seen some other pumps out there that are cheaper. Does anyone have any advice on sewage pumps that would work good with a 24 inch basin. We dont want to change the basin at this point.
this is for a sink, toilet, and shower.
thanks for any advice.

The best pump advice I can give you is to spend the money for a quality sewage pump, like the Hydromatic or a Zoeller, Goulds, or several other good brands that are out there. The cheaper pumps are cheaper for a good reason.
About the time you have to change out a sewage pump, you'll understand why quality counts here.

???
I guess thats one way of looking at it.
I'm just trying to minimize cost where possible. I will spend the extra money if that is what it boils down to. I just thought I would ask around for someadvice first.
Thanks! for reply.
